- Who needs counselling?
Counselling is for everyone.
Life is challenging. Sometimes things can happen that test our ability to cope and we become emotionally overwhelmed by the event. Sometimes despite repeated attempts to solve our problems things don't improve and so we need to learn new ways of solving the problem. Perhaps, in some instances the problem cannot be solved in the short term but we need support to cope with it. When traumas such as rape or domestic violence occur, counselling is a safe and protected environment to heal from these events.

- If I come for counselling, does it mean I’m mentally unsound?
It is a misconception that counselling is only meant for mentally ill people. Receiving help through counselling can often prevent problems from becoming worse.
It is always advisable to seek counselling at an early stage of the problem, before it becomes more serious and complicated.

- How do I proceed to make an appointment?
A call to the Center at Tel: 03-7710 3360, provides us with opportunity to gather relevant information from you about the issues you are seeking counselling for. Another alternative is you may fill in the Counselling Request and send it back to us.
You cannot make an appointment for someone else. Whoever is requesting for counselling must make the appointment for himself/herself.
A suitable counsellor is matched to your needs, and the first appointment is confirmed.
You can expect your first appointment within the next 7 days of making the initial call.
In the event that we are fully booked, you will be placed on a waiting list for the next available appointment.
