Marriage & Family Counselling
Marital & family counselling occurs when the primary problem is a marital or family concern. Sometimes only one person will come but spouses or family members are encouraged to come together to work on the issues as it involves all parties. Common issues include poor communication, conflict management, infidelity, and parenting concerns.
Pre-marital Assessment
We are licensed to use PREPARE, a very well researched and internationally used tool in pre-marital assessment. A report detailing relationship strengths and potential areas of conflict is included in the feedback session. Further counselling is available if necessary.
Smart Start
These 6 workshop sessions are designed to assist couples who are planning to get married to understand the joys and challenges of married life. We will explore issues such as personality type, gender differences, communication skills and how to manage conflict. Finances and sexuality will also be discussed. |
